Location:
Santa Catalina & Son Espanyolet facilitate the Bohemian lifestyle in Palma de Mallorca. We aimed at creating a lavish house for parties and leisure that could also function as a second home. -
“we imagined a town house for an international culture personality from film or music sectors, someone with an exquisite taste of interiors and art” Mikal Harrsen
-
-
Every aspect of the building and interiors were thoroughly rendered through in detail, considering the coherency of all elements, from light and art to surfaces and furniture.
-
Concise plan rendering was used as a key instrument in understanding future realities of traffic, function and proportions.
-
24 hours light and sun position simulations helped in understanding outdoor distrubution of facilities from roof top terrace and pool to ground level spa and outdoor outdoor dining.
-
“the Palma house somehow ended up reflecting admiration for modernist, post modern and minimalist traditions all at the same time - as a natural result of the period we were rendering through the building and every rooms ” Mikal Harrsen
-
Detailed renderings helps us protect our clients from unforseen build costs deriving from items not properly communicated in standard drawing material.

-
The bespoke Santagny wall tiles are featured on all outer walls throughout the building, providing a vertical defining perimeter with allowed for opening up between indoor spaces and connecting areas, without compromising the definition of each space.

-
“ guided by a contemporary holistic philosophy of sustainable living, we strive to understand and define spaces in their purest form - where nothing is added, that could be taken away ”
