The rather compromised remains of the original stone setting inspired the addition of new structural elements as contrasting units with references to the traditional and simple lifestyle in the Langhe hill sides.

The new elements plays a significant role in generating a structural diversity that blends into the surrounding landscape.

The interplay between the new and the old structures enhanses the minimalist ideals of both building components.

The design emphacises the movement on the sloped terrain and maintain the presence of vertical movement internally in the building also.
